Something from last Sunday’s Sermon:
What does it mean to obey?
Obedience is doing what you are told to do, when you are told to do it, happily.
To delay is to disobey.
Obey all the way right away with a happy attitude
Obey all the way right away with a right attitude
What does it mean to honor?
Obedience is the action honor is the attitude.
Obedience is the duty honor is the devotion.
Obedience is the fruit and honor is the root.
Honor is the disposition of which obedience is born.
To honor means literally to “consider as heavy.”
Something from this Sunday’s Sermon:
I will give you a handy, tried-and-true, sure to work, plan for exasperating your children.
I also plan on sharing my favorite line from Pride and Prejudice.
