Adult Bible Fellowship

Adult Bible Fellowship

The book of Acts describes the early church as devoted to “the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer” (Acts 2:42). One of our goals at Racine Bible Church is to cultivate an environment where these practices regularly occur, and where we are able to practice the Biblical “one-anothers,” such as caring for one another (1 Cor 12:25), serving one another (Gal 5:13), encouraging one another (Col 3:16), praying for one another (James 5:16), visiting in one another’s homes (1 Peter 4:9), and admonishing one another (Rom 15:14), all under the loving care of pastors and shepherds.

Adult Bible Fellowships are groups of 10-160 people who meet to carry out these biblical one anothers. They meet during both first and second hour every Sunday morning. Each ABF incorporates elder leadership, team teaching, and an emphasis on both Biblical teaching and Biblical fellowship. These groups regularly serve, encourage and pray for each other. We desire that every person in the congregation participate by regularly fellowshipping with other believers in one of our ABFs.

Our goal is to have a church filled with people who are united in their love for Christ and for one another, growing in knowledge and Christian maturity, equipped to serve one another in the body and bring glory to our Lord (Eph 4:11-16).
