A Top Seven

A Top Seven

I had a great week offline and away. It was great to be back here at RBC yesterday.

Here is a quick top seven from the last few days…

Praying Psalm 40:16 in corporate worship. May all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation say continually, ‘The Lord be magnified!’

Somebody gave me an Ipad as a graduation gift. I like it.

Amazed at how immediate and transformative the application of Hebrews 4:14-16 has been for so many people at RBC.

I read the book Manhunt last week. It is a fine work of history on the Lincoln assassination that reads like a fast paced crime novel.

The way Bob B. led the congregational meeting at RBC Sunday evening. I love Bob’s gratitude to God for the unanimity of the church board, his diligence in the present and his heart for future growth.

I shared a dinner of fresh red snapper at a fancy restaurant with Carly. They bring out the whole raw fish so that you can select it, then they cook it up, and bring it back and debone it right tableside. We had never had it that way before and it was a lot of fun.

Distributing invitations for everyone at RBC to share with others for our December services. 12/4 and 11 and 18 will all three include gospel testimonies from some of our members. I can’t wait to see how God uses reached people to reach people with the transforming power of Christ’s grace.
