You know that woman who helped you out at church today?
That deacon who showed concern?
That elder who opened his home and his heart for shepherding group?
Your teen’s youth leader? Your Sunday School teacher? The church secretary who answered your inquiry?
The valet who parked your car in the snow?
Do you want to get them a Christmas present?
Get them a book.
If you are going to buy gift books, I have some important advice for you.
Buy great gift books.
Do not grab what they pile up next to the cash register at the Christian book store.
Just don’t.
Do not get sucked in by the best seller list. Popularity means what, exactly? That the book had a good advertising campaign? That the reps put together a winning marketing strategy. So what?
Here is my advice. Go for the good stuff.
So… how do you know the good stuff?
I will tell you.
Here are some recommendations.
Get a hold of them and give them away as gifts.
