According to Ephesians 4:11-12, the goal of the leaders of the church should be to “equip the saints for the work of the ministry.” It is our desire at RBC to be purposeful and effective in equipping people to minister in the name of Christ. This involves offering people more in-depth study of the Bible, training in various areas of ministry, and Biblical teaching on various aspects of the Christian life, with a purpose of seeing people gain a clearer understanding of God and His Word, along with a greater practical outworking of that Word in their lives.
To help accomplish our purpose, we have instituted a Wednesday evening ministry called Firm Foundation. The church offers several classes, providing a situation where individuals can study various topics more in-depth in a smaller, more intimate, setting. Believers will have the opportunity to interact with the teacher, ask questions, and concentrate their studies on one particular subject for eight weeks at a time.
It is our prayer that God would use this ministry to give believers at RBC the foundation needed to grow in godliness, Biblical understanding, and service to the Body.
