The buses will be pulling out this afternoon.
It is currently two degrees up at Fort.
Perfect broom-ball weather.
I met with Wayne yesterday and we chatted about his messages for the weekend. I am convinced that he is the right man and this is the right moment. Pray for Wayne, Carol and their boys too. RBC is so thankful for the Beilgard family. We can see Jesus in them.
Yesterday, I grabbed a list of students and staff who registered for the weekend off the photocopier. I will be carrying it around with me for the next three days.
I am committed to pray for each one of them.
For the staff:
Hearts and lives of integrity out of which they can shepherd skillfully.
Psalm 78:72
For the students:
That our young women will understand and embrace who they are in Christ. I pray that this will lead to yielded hearts, modest adornment, and steady faith.
That our young men will be grounded in the gospel. I pray that this will lead to zeal for holiness, a bold witness, and uncompromising integrity.
For all of them:
That worldly thinking will disintegrate and in its place they will grasp the substantive, enduring truth of the gospel.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
That none would turn away from the truth.
That God’s wisdom would be to them as a garland of grace.
Get wisdom; get insight;
do not forget, and do not turn away from the words of my mouth.
Do not forsake her, and she will keep you;
love her, and she will guard you.
The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom,
and whatever you get, get insight.
Prize her highly, and she will exalt you;
she will honor you if you embrace her.
She will place on your head a graceful garland;
she will bestow on you a beautiful crown.
Proverbs 4
