I just read a Christmas letter from one our seniors (Dorothy B).
This short paragraph expresses exactly why we need aged men and women like this in our church. Here is what she writes –
Also a joy and support is my church family at Racine Bible Church. Though my peer group is obviously growing old together and every year dear ones leave for Heaven, we all treasure the many years of our lives we’ve shared and still share. How sweet it is also to share church life with new people, young people, and friends of every age group as we live and grow in Christ.
Praise God for our older members!
Lord, help us to love and honor them.
