Had a great lunch today with Wayne at Jose’s Blue Sombrero.
I ordered the jalapeño tilapia with rice served with avocado, lemon and lime. It was fantastic but that is not what made lunch great.
Our lunch was with a key individual who oversees social services for the city of Racine. We simply asked him if there were ways that our church could serve the people of this city. He talked about ways that our church might be able to serve the poor or elderly or at risk youth or others in our city.
I am getting very excited about the potential here. Hopefully we will have more to share soon. Contact me or Wayne if you are interested in helping out.
We want to shine the light of Jesus, through generous good deeds that may open doors for us to share the gospel.
