I taught a course on preaching to 20 men in the Italian Theological Academy. The Master’s Seminary has created what they call The Master’s Academy International (TMAI). These academies and institutes exist to train men for ministry in their home countries all around the world. From what I have seen, it is a strategic, leveraged, effective ministry. The men who graduate from these institutes learn Biblical interpretation, theology, church leadership and preaching all without having to leave their country.
Each day I preached one or two sermons. This was profitable for a couple of reasons. First, we discussed the sermons (interpretation, application, delivery) as another way to teach on preaching. Second, I preached on texts and topics that related to spiritual leadership and the men were challenged to grow in Christian maturity.
