Read first Timothy six and use these as prayer starters.
Lord, teach me until I am proficient in the precious lesson of contentment.
Father, work within me until I am free from all covetousness.
Show me the vanity of this world’s possessions.
Convince me of the value and incorruptibility of Heaven’s treasures.
Let me be delivered from all discontentments.
And please strengthen me so that I am fortified against all anxiety about money by a trust in You.
For You are the living God who gives me all things richly to enjoy.
