Nobody pursues purely “objective” learning. Everybody pursues “committed” and “socially located” learning. In fact, everybody’s learning is “faithbased,” and this is so no matter what his scholarly or professional field. The question is never whether a person has faith in something or someone, but in what or whom.
Plantinga
Do you agree with Christian philosopher Plantinga here?
I do.
Everybody has a heart that pushes, pulls and prods them toward certain conclusions and away from other ones. No one looks at the evidence with a genuinely open mind.
This is why the Spirit of God always targets the heart.
