Life is short.
Heaven and Hell are real.
Every single person that I have ever known is headed for one or the other.
Why is it that so many ministers – preachers – treat the ministry so lightly?
I agree with this guy.
The great seriousness of the reality of being human, the dreadful seriousness of the coming judgment of God, the sheer insignificance of the present in light of eternity – realities that were once the subtext of virtually every sermon – have now disappeared, and have been replaced by one triviality after another
