Please Pray for Church Planters in Italy
Next week I will be in Sicily teaching a course on preaching to a group of church planting pastors. Would you please pray for us?
Pray for the church planters to be filled with faith, hope and love. They face an uphill battle. Gospel preaching evangelical churches get a lot of flack in Italy. The whole grace alone, faith alone thing still isn’t popular.
For my course on preaching to equip them to be more faithful and fruitful in ministry.
I am sure the Seminary students will take me to their churches, and Bible studies in lots of places in the evenings. Who knows how many sermons, question and answer sessions, ministry interviews and other encounters I will be involved in?
That I will make the most of evangelism opportunities as I travel from Chicago to Catania, Sicily and also to Rome.
For Amy, Carly, Sam, Rylie to care for each other well. Pray that each of them would grow in God’s grace.
David Papillon and Dan Miller are preaching here the two Sundays I am away. Both of them are in finals week this week! And they are each headed for a wedding this summer!
Bob Boeck, John Anderson, Steve Miller, and the other elders and pastors bear the weight of the work of ministry with me constantly, both while I am here and while I am away. Pray for their wisdom, faith and vision.
The ministry I am serving is The Masters Academy International (TMAI). You can find out more about them online.
