Praying at Christmas

Praying at Christmas

I am trying to make extra time for prayer this week. Here are some ideas for prayer if you would like to join with me for this purpose.

“And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”
you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people
Saved from the guilt of sin by the merit of his death.
Join me in praying that more people would hear of His cross and believe the gospel.

Pray that we would share the word of the cross one to one in our community and corporately in our worship services.

So many people around us don’t even know that they need a Savior. Pray that God would soften their hearts, enlighten them to their need, and prepare us to be there with the right word at the right moment.

He will save His people from their sins
Saved from the power of sin by the presence of His Holy Spirit working in us to make our lives new.
Join me in praying that all of us at RBC would take seriously this Divine work of progressive sanctification.

Pray that we would love God, hate sin and depend on His Spirit. Pray that we will walk not after the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Pray that we would exhort one another day by day, that none of us would be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin.
