Saturday in Turkey

Saturday in Turkey.

We drove back to Ankara from the conference site yesterday. I rode with Brian and we talked for four hours about ministry, missions, Bible interpretation, prayer, vision and leadership. What a greatly gifted brother he is. I learn a lot in my conversations with him.

Today we are going to rest a little, do laundry and see some of Brian’s ministry in action here in Ankara. A few of our team members are a bit sick today so they might just stay in all day and rest. Nothing too serious just the typical travelling stomach issues.

The team worked so hard at the conference. They could use a rest day today. I kind of feel like my job for the last week was the easiest. I preached daily and then prayed and talked ministry with the CS workers. The rest of the team ran around the whole conference center all day every day re-creating ancient Rome for VBS, discipling JH and HS students, running games, preparing crafts, and all sorts of stuff.

Tomorrow I will preach at church here and our team will lead in music and worship. Then after church we start the eight hour drive over to Ephesus and the seven churches of Asia Minor.

((No pictures here today. But if you are on facebook Bryce, Amy P,. and Amy D. are posting new pictures up there)).
