Discussion Questions –
- What are the key terms in verse 14? What does each of them mean?
- What is the four step play that sin runs? Can you describe each of the steps in your own words?
- What might we do to decrease our desire for sin?
- What might we do to increase our desire for God?
Application Challenge – Pick a personal sin and declare war against it. Pray about it daily. Ask a friend for prayer and accountability. Memorize relevant scriptures. Be prepared to confess when you fail (you won’t achieve perfection). Rely on Jesus and he will help you grow.
