Don’t you love talking with thankful people?
Hearing from a man or woman mindful of God’s mercy and aware of God’s goodness is always sweet.
This morning when I landed in my office and played the waiting voicemails…
The first one started out. “Hello Spencer, no need to call back I just wanted to take two minutes and leave some good news for you.” It was the father of a middle schooler relating how he had seen God at work in his son’s life.
After I went through my voicemails I brought up my emails…
The first one, sent from a 65 year old man in our congregation, was a simple word of praise to God. This dear brother shared about his gratitude to God for salvation and some specific things about RBC that have meant a lot to him recently.
The thankfulness I heard this morning is making me more thankful.
That is how it should be.
