Kids Choirs in our Sunday services. They looked and sang great in both services. But there was a difference between the two. First hour they marched in and stood straight and still. Second hour they marched in and then got restless leg syndrome or something. The hopping, jumping, twirling around was contagious. It was great!
Our friend Virginia turned 99. She is at church every single Sunday, morning and night. She keeps up to date on missionary prayer items. She prays for those in our youth ministry by name. What a faithful saint.
Sam and Amy agreed to come with me and sing some special music when I preach for InterVarsity at Parkside next week.
Hearing great things about the Sunday evening class on Ministering to people with developmental disabilities. So happy we are offering this course at RBC. So excited to see how the Lord will use us in this area of ministry.
Working through material for my Sunday evening class on How to Teach the Bible. We talked about diagrams, participles, lexical and syntactical studies and the life-giving power of God’s Word (Psalm 119:93)
Seeing so many new faces in the congregation both services as I preached the gospel. Many family and friends visited here for our special Palm Sunday services. Join me in praying for those who heard the gospel and those who may be visiting us next week.
Seeing so many familiar faces in the congregation both services as I preached the gospel. I sense God’s people swelling with joyful confidence when the gospel is proclaimed corporately.
