We purchase this FOF curriculum from Grace Community Church.
It is very well written.
It provides the right depth for an overview of the fundamentals of our faith.
It has been used with great fruitfulness in churches all over the world.
But our teacher is just too faithful to use it as is.
You know how the Bible says that elders need to be able to teach?
I’ve always thought that is not just a skill. It is a character quality.
Bob Boeck has got it.
Bob takes the FOF material (which, admittedly, is great the way it comes) and makes it better.
He adds bits that clarify what is there.
He emphasizes portions that he deems would be most helpful to the people in the class.
It is my joy to serve with faithful men like Bob.
