What are people? Understanding Reality, Relationships, and Rules

To understand life, we have to understand what people are. And this requires a biblical grasp on reality, relationships, and rules: on reality as created by God, on relationships as given by God and on biblical rules as expressing the wisdom & love of God. So reality is not created by us & our feelings, and some of our most fundamental relationships are not ultimately chosen by us but by God, and God’s rules are neither random nor harmful but are built into the loving & wise design of the world and the people in it.
